So I've been starting to see a few other people carrying boomboxes in the street/on the beach ('in the wild' I guess) lately, so I thought I'd make a spotted! section for the wonderful boys and girls of boomboxery to share experiences/sightings of people and their boomboxes.

[Thread Rules]
-This thread is not for talking about seeing boomboxes in advertisements or videos -there is already got a whole subforum for that.
-The radio must have an owner and is not being sold. ie. no fleas, thrifts, private sales
-No mentions of organised meets allowed either!
-pictures allowed! :-)

Alright I'll start

While I was on the bus on the way to work today, I saw a bunch of islander looking kids just chillin' at Oakleigh station (Australia-Melbourne) with a Kaboom at 7:45am. :-D :-D

next!

Last year on Australia Day............. Happy Australia Day today everyone

They always mention to bring your radio to the fireworks and tune into the music
that goes with the display. I seen a guy rock up carrying a Sharp GF-6060.
He was way cool :w00t:

Last summer I went to pick my daughter up from a birthday party at a local movie cinema, and in the lobby guys from an "urban dance" school were breaking and bboying to promote their classes, they had what looked like a small to mid sized three piecer playing modern style electronica (I think they were too young to know what break beats were...) At the time, I was only interested in single piecers, so I really didn't pay attention to it. (Now I own two three piecers, though I still prefer the classic single piece units...)

Spotted!!

I was manning a stall at my university's 'O (orientation) week', of course I had my trusty hitachi 3d8w with me - and a guy walked past me with a smaller sized Panny 3 piecer!! YESSSS! I was so shocked and happy to see another box in the outdoors Hahaha I cant remember the model number but it looked quite similar to a Sony CFS-W365

Made my day :) :super: :-D :-D :-D
