ok --the rca and phone jack extensions ( above ) are to provide easier access to the jacks and,
same with the tuner knob on the other side -- had to ' build it out '

the problemo was that fitting a 22" box into a 29" case --
created 3 1/2" ' caves ' on both sides --

and its needs all of the 29" to make way for the future 10" woofs
plus - the m70 needs to sit up 3 " in the case --

here are a few crude pre-pre build shots

btw -- the amps of the m70 -
are way more than capable of getting big/deep //clean sound from any good 10 inchers

i hate painting over nice wood grains :'-(
good wood should be coated with several coats of clear laquer --
to accentuate the grains and the colors -

but --
the goal is/was to replicate the dual 550 --
so thats that
