something smells minty....

ok it smells like plastic but it sure looks minty!!!
it was dirty as hell in the pics but i could see that it was in good shape.
the seller cleaned it up a little before he shipped it....then i hit it with some wipes and some q-tips as soon as i opened it up.
i was not expecting it to be this nice!!
sounds better than it looks......no complaints whatsoever.
everything works but the clock....im sure thats any easy fix.

battery slipped my mind....cant believe i dont even have one AA battery in my entire apartment.....so much for sleepin tonight.
now that you mentioned it.....i do remember someone sayin that once those clocks are done....theyre done.
whats the deal with that?

well, the LCD can go faint if the internal connection to the leads begin to corrode or oxidize and they aren't available....
And the controller IC is extremely static sensitive and can get wiped out by one static shock, and as you guessed it -- no longer available.

The bad thing about the clock is that it's far more than just a clock. It also performs the internal timer/sleep functions for the radio.

I just got my black version of this same box last night :thumbsup: .

To get the line-in to work, do you have to push the play & record button? :huh: On mine I have to, I just didn't know if that was a glitch or if that's how it is supposed to be.....
