kill my captors and take there boomboxes and their women.
there is no other real choice in the matter.
honestly theres no boomboxes in the house i would smash.
i would rather go out fighting than submit to someone who would cage me.

a world of satisfaction --
would be to smash the big mono rc550  :w00t:

:jawdrop: :-O Why the 550 Ira?

because the sound is very thin --
and i expected soooooooo much more from that 10 inch woof box

awesome looker though :-) :-)

That's true it's not what we would expect soundwise but I just cant see smashing one. I find it a little odd in comparison to other boxes that they have sold regularly in the past between $500 to $1500, $1500 is what OCD4U paid for his boxed 550 isn't it?

WOW this is a tough one,
But before anyone yells at me let me explain.
It would have to be My M-70
And the only reason why is because thats the only one Id be able to replace in a heartbeat
Absolutely NO other reason.
And I WOULD eventually replace it
Cant live without my M-70 :nonono:

you guys had me cracking up just reading all the post ,, but really it would be hard to do but you would only think of a box that was easy to get again like the m70,, but at the same time how about working on a box just to get you agravated to the point of smashing it thats what ira wanted to do with his hawaiian m90

Well Monchito I would gladly do that to my Blaunkton.

Big a$$ black box that was packed with one layer of small bubble wrap and a few pieces of newspaper inside of two 18x18x18 boxes stuffed into each other so they would collapse like an accordian one inside of the other with the lightest pressure. I blew $200 bucks on that box and the seller wouldn't do anything, he was, stillis I think, S2G member held in high regard. Don't ask why I spent $200 on it, it was my weaker period in buying boomboxes.

Anybody need Blaunkton parts? (Same basic model as the Trident P-2000)

wow of all things i belive packing right will go along way but at the same time mishandaling of the corrier has some blame i already told the guy that i started using to mail stuff to take care of my boxes as they are vintage gear and not replacible

I would never deliberately destroy one of my boxes. I would, however, be willing to take one apart, try to fix a broken belt or out-of-adjustment FM stereo circuit or cracked tuner glass... and then try to reassemble it. The result would be the same! :-/

If you had seen how that big empty black box was packed you wouldn't have blamed the carrier at all, it would have been a miracle if it had arrived undamaged. Here's the really sick kicker, I asked him to please pack well because those big boxes are easily damaged and I got a reassurance that it would be. I felt fairly comfortable, after all he was a collector with hundreds of boxes.

I really have to get rid of that box to dull the memory.
