A rebranded Aiwa HS-JS345, this was the last cassette machine purchased (for $69.99 in a mall that no longer exists) with the idea of being a 'front line' entertainment device. I had purchased my first portable CD player - and digital camera - on the same turn of the century shopping trip. Both have since died. Still have the Optimus as it never got much use.
