hey guys.. when i had taken the original video.. i blamed it on the mic.. but in reality the crossover was to blame.. (and me) you see i was using a 2 way xover and connecting both woofers to the woofer input on the xover.. i was so excited to finally get the boombox finished i didnt realize that hooking both woofers to the one connector was going to kill the impedence.. the speakers are 6 ohm.. and by hooking them up the way i did i in effect doubled the impedence.. anyways.. i got lucky a seller on Ebay had a high quality 2 woofer/tweeter xover.. (should have searched harder the first time.. :-/ ) anyways.. last night i put the new xovers in.. and now she's working freaking awesome! it's like i released the flood gates on the sound and clarity.. now she cranks big time! anyways i'm going to post a new video with the new xovers.. she be thumpin now!

ok.. made an updated video.. hopefully you can hear the difference.. the boombox is now done.. and will be put up for sale in the next week or two.. had a blast working on it.. the Fisher PH-460 will go up for sale also.. i also have a rare Panasonic RX-FD75.. but that needs a bit of love.. and i'm going to take my time getting that to 100%

enjoy the video.. dont hate on the choice of cassette playback.. i dont own any tapes.. so had to borrow one :-D
