Beautiful, Mono!

When I saw those on yahoo I thought they'd yellowed with age and that wasn't the original colour, so I always skipped past em!

Now, of course, I must have one. Definitely the Rolls Royce model of that style Sharp.

Altho some Sharp models came with pure white woofers, I believe some - like the GF-1000 and GF-787 - also came with yellowish/cream colored woofers.
Regardless, too much dust slipping past the grills can ruin the look and leave little spots on 'em after cleaning...
That's the only thing I was most concerned with but things turned out great.

The all silver models looked way classier than our version(575) I don't think they released it stateside.
Is the color europe and Asia only?

Wow....I have never seen this in white before. It just floor's me to think that that radio is 25 plus years old. It looks like you just pulled the Styrofoam off it for the first time

The GF-787 is the only model in the domestic Japanese series (GF-757, GF-787, GF-858) that comes in pearl white...

The overseas GF-575 seems to be a version of the GF-757 but missing the extra headphone jack and movable station markers.
Also, the GF-787 has 6 sliders while the GF-575 has 5.

About that dual tape deck, werent Sharp the first brand to include it in a boombox, thinking about the Sharp Gf-555 :hmmm:
