Hmmm...I watched the video you posted closely & if you watch the part where he pans across the interior of the front, you can clearly see the 2 screw posts that would line up with the battery compartment, on the back side if you pause it at 1:08. The 2 posts are on each side of the CD tray slot. On the DT75 there are 2 square holes where the screws are in the battery compartment. Hope that helps. Evrythign I see in the video is identical to the DT75, including the screw locations.
Thank you!

I saw the same 2 screw posts in that video on either side of the battery compartment but to my big surprise there is only one hole and screw on the right side at the back. The other adjacent side on the left has a square hole that ends with "no screw or hole". I even poked with a wooden stick thinking something is stuck there, but no! There is nothing there.

I used pry tools, and that left side (when you look from the rear) gets stuck there as if a screw is holding it in place. The top opens like 1.00 cm all the way across.

Normally I don't give up but, in this case, I had no other option. I don't want to break anything inside it.
It looks like new out of box. There is a faint layer of dust inside the speaker compartment that made me try to open it. All functions work flawlessly and sound the best. Remote don't even have a hairline scratch.
