I recently picked up a 920 and it is a beautiful sounding machine. Pure class and very heavy duty...top notch professional quality controls and sound. One of my favorites to listen to. You will definitely love it!!

That's definitely a high-end model! Congratulations!

For those who own one, is it comparable sound-wise to high-end units (M90, S90, etc.) from other manufacturers?

I sold mine a while ago. It's a looker, and has a nice balanced sound - good highs and warm bass, but it's nowhere close to M90. It reminded me of GF-9696 sound wise. I kind of regret selling it now, so I might get me another one :-)

Sound-wise it is definitely on the M90, S90 sound level. The music sounds very clean and detail on this box...and Sanyo's wide setting really sets it apart sound-wise. Where the M90 stands out is it's overall power, but for sound and clarity it is definitely on par with M90 and S90...beautiful detailed highs and solid lows, and the build quality actually is a little higher than the M90. I feel it is definitely in the top 5 of all the high end 1 piecers I have heard.

Well, that's a very different opinion from what Vladi said. :-/ I may have to get one to find out for myself.

Any more opinions, anybody?

He has a difinitive better sound than the GF9696, the Sanyo sound is clear and powerfull .. M90 is again a different caliber... ;-)
