Do you get full range on your tuner input mod? I just recently modded my Sanyo M9935k (basically the same exact model) to use the tape deck line as line-in but it cannot play full range (like while bass plays you cannot hear anything else from the music, no high notes, no mid notes, just bass), and ontop of that theres still a buzzing noise from the tape deck even though I cut the wires to the motor (I plan on adding a switch later to turn the tape deck head and motor on because right now the tape function only serves as line-in).

I'd really like to know about the range or if you have any ideas on how to get full sound range through the tape deck circuits.

... Rather than mess with killing the tuner for sake of modding a line-in, how about ...... ...[edit].... one of those cheapo MP3 players that looks like a tape and plays mp3's thourh the cassette head.

Sorry to jump in but I've never come across or heard of such a thing but they do sound so convenient, what are these called?
