Why are people so rude on this site? People try to save a dollar in this Crazy thing called life.
These radios are only worth what someone wants to pay for them. I have always believed people should stop trying to pay their Mortgage, or kids college tuition and price them like when they were NEW back in the late 70's early 80's, between 150-450. They were overpriced even back then only cashing in on the "BIGGER and LOUDER" Days with the kids. Profit is what rules the world, right?

And people should just put it on Ebay and let the auction decide what it sells for if they want maximum profit.Seems like ALL offers are insulting to the sellers on this sight anyway.

And stop telling people "if can't afford it". You might be suprised what some people can afford especially if you do not know them personally. LOL!

FYI, The younger generation might NOT EVEN appreciate these radios when they get older so the "VALUE" might just plummet anyway.

They are not interested in muscle cars as some of you might know even with trying to coach them into liking it.Look what happened to model cars, Dying a slow death.Also with radios from the 40's on up, Sad.

These letters are not only bold, they're so big that on a 1366x768 pixel, 15.6" screen, without anything enlarged, the lines of text overlap to the point where they've become unreadable and as such, have lost any meaning that they may (or may not, I'm not taking sides) have had.

Hey anywhere you go you're gonna that so just chill it is not worth it and besides that's why we have moderators you can always PM them to deal with them.

The nature of the beast is this "If you want it you pay for it" there's no working around it. Even then when these Boomboxes were being sold at stores they were a bit overpriced but people still bought them.

I agree 100%, I think fully restored classic cars should be only a few hundred dollars because "I" want one! Same goes for a private jet, vintage guitars, a yacht and a penthouse full of playboy bunnies!

I'll be over here smoking my BONG while I wait for that to happen!

BTW, the best way to get deals from Boomboxery members is to call them out on their high prices! But what do I know, I only got 9000+ posts!

Nice point, Chris. :yes: Actually, this place has to be among the quietest & politest places I know of. I mean, so what if you don't get your price right away. There's no law that says you have to sell for an offer you think is too low...
...and while you're at it, please kindly drop ship that bong up here so it can be properly inspected & certified under Washington's new laws...then you'll be all ready when Cali legalizes next. :weed: :weed: :weed: :weed:

People need to be more courteous when they negotiate. Don't say shiat like "are you serious bro?".

Just say something like "would you consider X" or "if u can come a little lower we might have a deal, I usually see these models selling for X" ........and if you still can't agree, just say "hmm, well that's more than I'm willing to pay, good luck tho"

Basic common sense.

Sorry to say there is a value ...not what someone wants to pay!! if that was the case I would like to pay a dollar for a 1000$ box too ...We all look at ebay and craig's list all the time so when it comes to putting a price on a box we all have a general idea....So yes if I have a box that is worth 500$ I don't like getting a 65$ offer it basically is a f#$kin insult :dunce:

If you do not like low offers, simply state your price & stop harassing people just 'cause you think your crap is worth more than it really is. If you call me a low baller, I'll laugh & call you a 1 ball eunich, just because you guys take this stuff WAY TOO SERIOUSLY!!!! Also, if you do sell something on here BE SURE IT IS what you say it is.....& pack it the way you would like it to be packed if you bought it.....

I've gotten my share of insults from babies who cannot separate a real discussion from stupid, pointless & trolling comments. I have the thickest skin around so I have no problem, jousting with any member here who insists on making things personal...
