Okay, here is a tough one for you guys :yes: .
Ready?
Here we go!

For what did I just trade my second M90?

1. You find it mirrored in a toy store.

2. Take the D away and no tree will grow.

3. In the US, Abe greets you from it - just the number.

4. The last two numbers of the Big Station.

5.James Todd Smith has two of them but you only need one.

6. Every "movie" starts with it.

Hint: Every answer is either a letter or a number (except for #4).


If nobody guesses it, I will give you more hints later on :-D

That silver is so RARE! :-O :-O

I am a big lover of RC550. I paid close to $1K to get one from Naperville, IL which is hardly 30 miles from where I live.
The nasty seller really saw me excitement and drooling, drool puddle and all when I went to see it.

The 550 is awesome because it is so unique. :yes: It is basically the grandfather of all other boomboxes that followed in the 80s.
I am so glad to have this silver one in my collection now...I doubt I will every see another one in my life. :-O
BTW - does anyone here know more about the silver version?
I have heard rumors that only 11 were built for an expo and there was a newspaper article somewhere but I can't find aynthing to confirm this theory.
Anyway, I am very happy right now :-D

So cool to have two 550 brothers together :thumbsup: . You know me - i dont like the silver , but damn this is a white whale :thumbsup: . So happy for you dude. And indeed Peter made you a present :thumbsup: I would trade 5 x M90 for this silver monster :yes: . And if we count how common is M90 , ten of them for this uber rare 550 is nothing :thumbsup:

:agree: It was a very fair trade and very nice of Peter.
The thing is just that when opportunity comes, you must not hestitate and take it - it might not come around again...ever. :yes:
