Thanks guys, it's processing nicely as I did some more work on this.
I managed to remove the grills and got the paint.
I also managed to remove the capstan sleeve and re-tube the capstan.I also cleaned and oiled the deck so it's all serviced and ready to go.
Did notice I need a rewind gear that's in the top part of the deck as the gear is missung some teeth.FF, Play, Pause are all good now!

Here'some photos of tte progress so far.

Grills have been lightly sanded and prepped and painted, just letting them dry outside for 2 hours and bringing them in.
I have to thank Jimmy and Frank for their expertise on painting.
Now tomorrow I'll install them back in and put the deck back in as it's been re tubed on the capstan and all oiled, cleaned.and serviced! :)

Photos of grills,I actually re-sprayed one of these as it had a slight imperfection as I touched it slightly when I has to remove a piece on dust.
Now they are really looking nice!!
I cleaned up all the displays and bulbs and LEDs so I'm going to put the grills in tonight and the moment of truth will be tomorrow when I try to power it up!!

Ok,grills in,cabinets on, and Yes,it powers on but only on AC.
On batteries the tuner will turn on and change stations but no lights,no power when tape is turned on.The battery connections were somewhat corroded but I filed them so it should be getting good contact.hmmm??
But on AC it works beautifully, all lights, dial light and the sound is amazing!!!
Tape is working perfectly to,I'm really, really psyched that this has been resurrected from the dead!!! Thanks Devol-Toni for the power supply board and transformer and voltage wheel !!!!!

Now I'm wondering if my tuner AA's aren't good enough,so tomorrow I'll put new alkalines in there and see if that helps.
The batteries were good last I tested so I'll try new 10 D's also, man I'd so love to get this to power up on batteries!!!
One other noted it,switch is best for tuning on first setting? Meaning it tunes on the 5's instead of the 10's. But on that setting it tunes in strong and tuning light comes on and Stereo light to!!
A little strange as if the station is 96.9 it pulls in strongly on 96.85 but if I tune it to to 96.9 it isn't really tuned in as the stereo light and tuning light go off.
Not a big deal but on AM it doesn't tune in for USA stations.
FM,cool, I'm just ecstatic that it works so beautifully on AC!!
Now I got to get this battery connection thing or whatever is going on going!!!
Here's some photos of the resurrected Sharp GF-9595H.

Thanks so much Anton!!!
Your super!!! :) It took some time and patience especially with that ribbon connection re soldering.
Now to just figure out the DC problem, I'm kind of guessing battery issue or still corroded connections.Testing with voltage tester on output of battery compartment tomorrow.

Man that is a beautiful Transformer and power supply, your so kind!!!! :):)

That's a beautiful boomer you have there - a real mix of late 70s real steel and mechanical deck with 80s digital tuner and LEDs!!!

A very unique looking unit - I want one now!!

Congrats on all your hard work. You deserve to sit back now, beer in hand and enjoy the fruits of your labour!!

James..... :-)

Thanks guys,I appreciate the kind remarks.
I'm going to open her up later today and just check my battery connectors and the wires out of it and test that voltage.
Other than that I'm going to enjoy it and if I can't get it going on batteries right now I'll do some research and ask lots of questions and I'm sure I'll get the battery situation worked out.
Now for a little brown paint to match around that mixing jack in front. Need to match that color up.
Thanks again guys!! :)

Thanks guys,I appreciate the kind words.

I now have this fully working, there was a wire on one of the battery tabs that corroded off so I cleaned it up and soldered it back on and Yay!!!
Working on batteries and AC now!!! ;)

Good work sir - sometimes it's the little repairs that have the biggest impact!
You're portable now!!
