looks great! have you tried it with the grills back on the woofers?. just think it would tie everything together , either way it far better than what you started with .

HOLY SMOKE! :w00t:

I can't believe you brought that beater back from the edge! It was so hammered.

That color is AWESOME! :jawdrop: That's the loudest radio I have never heard!

Looks incredible. Top work S.P.

I guess the question is.....is that a shelf queen or is it going to hit the street?

Thanks guys !

At first I was disappointed with the colour because it wasn't as blue as the online sample was, but I really like it by now. That said, red is still the best, but I wanted an original work  .

I have not put the grillz back on yet, have to paint them first. But due to the multiple requests I'll have to try it.

Lasonic TRC-920 that is a very good question. I did take it out once but after a few hundred meters it acted up switching to mono etc, because the RCA plugs are on the back and sensitive, so when you carry it they keep bumping in to your legs cause horrible noise. I'll try again when the event isn't as high-profile (it was Halloween).

Been thinking about changing speakers too, because after some more listening it does sound a bit weak, especially bass-wise. Found some nice 8inch 4 ohm speakers on ebay for £20, might be worth a shot. Also thinking of putting some LEDs in the deck and tuner.

Peace

An update on this, after I found out my Lasonic 931 probably isn't going to be working anytime soon I snatched the speakers and put in the GF-9000  . They fit very well although it took some soldering to get them working with the 9000. So now it really thumps at low-medium levels and sounds alright at higher volume.
Also yesterday I got some white LEDs on a strip that I put in the tuner window :w00t: . I wanted to light up the VU-meters but there is just no way of fitting some LEDs there. Fastened them at the top so they shine down on the tuner scale, looks really great. if you look from below you can see the LEDs though and well it's not a high-quality mod but I like it for £ 10 and 30 min installation  . Pics to come.

Peace
