Recieved a beautiful Panny RX5310!

RX5310 is one of my early boomboxes I had in the late 70s and wanted one for a long time.

Just recieved one in MINT condition.
Everything works and no scratchy pots.

I still love to do a cleaning and servicing on this box to make it like new.

The 'once' BIG looking mono box looks so small to me... but beautiful rich sound and unique looks.

Acquiring and RX5410 will calm me down for a while before I sleep in the garage.

Pictures to follow. This one got the white lettering on the dial and red tuner pointer. I loved the green dials and green pointer better.

Hi brothers, I am still sick with a viral infection with temperatures at 102F. It is terrible! I feel so tired and weak. Now I am on 7 medications for it.
I will post as soon as I feel better.

It looks very much like this except for the white letters and red needle on the radio dials.

Thansk bro! This viral fever nearly killed me. I am on 7 medications now. I feel better now. Prescription TAMIFLU® (oseltamivir phosphate) is main medication I am takinng besides lung clearing medication, cough med, nasal congestion clearing spray, 600mg ibuprofen for body pain. One night I wanted to go to emergency but stayed home till my doctors office open up. It was that bad.

It brought down a 235Lbs/6'2" chimp like me on my knees. I am still taking bed rest. I hate to stay on bed.

I also got the same Hitachi in your avatar! I made tape work on it the last time I opened it up. Now for some reason the tape is not working again. I have no stregth to open and work on it now.

Absolutely no distortion at peak volumes even.

Truely amazing sound from this small mono box!

Pansonic quality is superb!

I could listen to several SW and LW stations clearly with fine tunic. It got very powerful reception too.

I did a quick cleaning. Nothing in detail. I neeed to touch up the dial glass Al edges that smeared off. I iwll so that when I feel better.

I also lost mine in a move.
After that I was always looking to get one.
They rarely come up in good condition on Ebay.
This is another box a collector should definitely have.

I call it the Little Wonder!

Panasonic has made it seriously. See the separate Bass & Treble controls. It is very rare on a mono.

Even the bottom is shining!
