Here's my collection! Of course I'm still working on it. And thanks for weighing in. Your input helped me make the decision to purchase the SCR-8. In the pic from top to bottom. SCR-8, JVC RV B90, And Fisher PH D-800 I bought back in 1987. I also had a Magnavox D8443 that I traded for a Pioneer RT-707. Huh.

I am looking to buy a Realistic SCR-8 if anyone by chance has one for sale. I owned one of these units for many years and it was used OFTEN, thus most likely the reason it stopped working one day. I have many cassettes that I would like to listen to (via portable unit) and also the line in on the unit was great (for iPod etc). I am willing to pay a reasonable price provided the unit works property.

I was thinking the same thing, I have yet to hear a tape in a SCR-8/ Blockbuster..
