Yep I like the 720 too. But it's moving on to nzboom. I traded it for a city boy and another 920 to fix mine. Slightly regretting it. Ha. Didnt cost me much so alright trade.jimmyjimmy19702010 said:You've gotta love an nice outdoor shot like that.

Unfortunately all the boxes in those pictures are actually from one of my friends collection. The guy did think that my thongs are not mint enough to be able to stay anywhere closed to his grailsjimmyjimmy19702010 said:Now there is a National Panasonic lover!! It’s a pity you had to sell your thongs to afford to buy that last box.53BC275E-A305-442B-9900-B2B80B2577E1.png

I have a box like this a while ago, I fashioned a small hook from a piece of wire that i had, looked on the service manual for the catch location and then wiggled my wire in after creating a small gap in the door and flipped the latch. ONce apart i found a door part requiring a repair and its been fine since.MyOhMy said:JVC-PC-37B just arrived. Bought as 'full working order', it has a really nice sound for the size - far better than I ever expected - but I found the deck door does not open even though the Open lever feels good and responsive. No luck with a gentle tug, pleading on my knees or asking politely so my question is: Assuming I have to open the box to fix this from inside, how would you suggest I tackle this if the deck door needs to be open before the back comes off? Catch 22 in my ol' eyes!
Worth a try however, there is a decent overlap of the door to the case and the door will only move about 1mm-2mm to this could prove very difficlut but I'll give it a try soon.T-STER said:I have a box like this a while ago, I fashioned a small hook from a piece of wire that i had, looked on the service manual for the catch location and then wiggled my wire in after creating a small gap in the door and flipped the latch. I can see through the door that the heads are definitely in a raised position. I'll give this a try as it could be one of the limited options available - assuming the back will come off, with the door closed, allowing me access.Reli said:Could be because the belt broke and the heads are stuck in the up position. Try taking off the rear case and using your fingers to rotate the main pulley until the heads go back down.
