So what do we have going on here? Looks like a Sanyo C2 centre panel attached to a 1 piece cabnet?! Car CD head unit and a pair of nice looking drivers and stock tweeters maybe?

I believe those are VZ tweeter grills

Hey Slo, they kick! it's part of a larger modification I'm doing. I've replaced both woofers and both tweeters. The current mids were fine. I also install a proper 2nd order passive crossover - LED back light for the VU meters and the Tuner. I have replaced all the LEDs in the meter bridge to blue. I have a new power supply and a new amplifier. I'm working on how to fit it and still keep the tuner - aux - phono and cassette decks.

Even without the amp upgrade the box kicks!

I used the components from a pair of Vega AT 8 cabinets. Driver depth works perfect. Tweeters needed modification on the plastic flanges.

I will update with pictures soon.

I spotted those sweet Cerwin Vegas right away too. So cool! Heck of a job Brother! I can't wait to see the final modded version. Especially with the Blue colored metered lights. :drool:

Here is a tease at the progress of the Clairtone. *** note when i refoamed the woofers I didn't place the dustcap correctly on one of the woofers. I will be correcting that for the final product.

Spring Cleaning!

Pulled every radio out from the BoomRoom and cleaned all the shelves and wiped every radio down with micro fiber cloth and rearranged everything back into the room. Started at 8:30am, finished at 3:30pm :chris920:
