Just by looking at that JVC M-90, I really want one.

I might be saving up my dough to buy one, so if someone considered selling me one they own, how much would you ask for it? I'm just curious.

Most stuff I can't buy on eBay because I have no credit card.

I was lucky enough to get a boombox that I could pay with money order.

for a beater mostly anywhere from 200-300 a little bit better looking and non working deck 350-650 a real minty with everything intact nothing missing and all funtions working 700-1000 anything after that is a lot more especially if its inside a box with paperwork and what have you,, so my advise is to save up and remeber that those prices change with the ression in mine or you are lucky to find one in the wild :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: if you are lucky   :-) :ninja: :ninja:

:agree:
When the economy was good ,nice examples were fetching 1000 or more all the time.
Ill have to say though I have yet to see the day when a decent one surfaces for around 350.

Phade man, you never heard of a debit card? Works just like a cc.
Your missing out on a lot of nice affordable boxes by not being able to bid on ebay.
I wish you luck in finding some in the wild....... If I don't get to them first!

I been meaning to ask you Z...have you found any boomboxes around here?

I've gone to Goodwill and Savers by the old Southwyck Mall. No luck.

Hell yeah. I got quite a few in the wild here in T-town. You must be looking in the wrong places.
I'll give you a tip. Let everyone you know, know you are looking for old ghettoblasters. Word gets around and you get boxes, simple.
Well, maybe not that simple.

Try Detroit too. I get up there a lot to visit friends and i've found some really great boxes.

Nope. If all I had to do is go to a store to buy old school boomboxes, I probably wouldnt be collecting.
This is a hunt so you gotta keep your eyes open.
Try fleamarkets.

Seriously MZ this is a treasure hunt, if it was as easy as going to the market and picking one up for a few dollars whenever you wanted wouldn't that get kind of boring. Most of us have spent insane amounts of time searching for boxes, that makes the rare find very special.
I know we'd run out of space very quickly if it were as easy as running to the market for a box whenever you wanted.

Phade try to obtain a Debit card if you have a savings account, and you'll be on your way in buying an M-90. ebay is the best place to find an M-90.

In the wild would be near impossible  but there have been a few that I recall that were lucky in finding one in the wild.

Good Luck!

I think I might have accidentally clicked on the wrong section to allow users to PM me.

Sorry to anyone who have tried to PM me including you Ramon.

Hey Ford-Did you hear I have a M-90 now!!
Just got to get the deck going other than that it sounds great!!
Got to get it serviced and somehow clean the speakers-only on the outside though.
Very clean inside and the speakers are really in good shape other than the fronts being jkind of dirty.
Couple of small stains on the top but other than that' it's all there except for the antennas and I'm working on that now.
I just can't wait to get this all going!!!
Have a great one-nice to see you around again-GB. :-)
