Took my Altec on vacation to Disney this weekend past.
Im embarrassed to say I didnt take a single picture of it.
Its always great to have a boomer with you on vacation!!!
Im still on vacation at home and have been bringing it to the pool
every day so I will take a picture of it later.

I went down the victorian coast for a few days this week, first time away for about seven years, so I made the most of it.
Also had a kick arse in-the-wild spotting!!
RISING along the Great Ocean Road.
Rocking hard in Apollo Bay.
Keeping it real on holiday.
Laver's Hill general store worker with great little National. Was funny as he collects bakelite radios!
Still earning her keep! (I didn't make him an offer on her, got 2 of my own of this model)
Overlooking Port Campbell.
Working it at the Barwon Downs dam.
Relaxation at it's finest!
RISING against the trees.
Turned out to be the perfect radio to take on holiday, light enough and loud enough to deliver great sound everywhere.
We were out in the middle of nowhere for a great deal of the time, where theres not even any TV reception, yet the RISING pulled
in radio stations no problem. The dial light was a great little night light in my room too. Like they say in the classics: good times, great rock'n'roll.
Rock On.

Forgot to say, I didn't score any radios, but I did hunt high and low. I did take down half a dozen flyers I made up, however, and dropped them off at op/thrift shops and second hand dealers down the coast. Already had a couple of calls with some VERY promising leads!!
Had a great time on holiday, I've got an open invitation to do it again any time I can with the guy who housed me and carted me around this time, can't wait to get down there again!
