I think it looks pretty cool too, very good idea actually. I was just thinking recently that for such a great
boombox they are pretty boring to look at.

IMHO i think the only overkill on yours Melly would be the gold lines through the
middle of the main unit. I reckon this is what makes it seem too much. I would
stay with the speakers and the handle for sure and go back to original on the main
part of the unit. I think there is already enough going on there without the gold lines
and it will draw attention back to the speakers Well thats what i reckon

Very cool Melly I do like it, but I would have left the center in black and just keep the speaker trims and handle in gold!
