HEY EVERYONE!
The story:
We get up to Blaine, which is about a three-hour drive (that's hoping there are no wrecks in Seattle or bad timing with rush hour.)
Then, we meet James, who is SUPER COOL! He brought it with batteries so I could hear it first...
It sounds FABULOUS for about three seconds, then it acts weird. My heart sinks. :'-(
Then, James's eyes get really big and he says, "I bet the batteries are dead. Let's go plug it inside." So we get it inside and...
THANK GOD!!!

:super:

:superduper:
IT WORKS LIKE A GODESS!
We hung around for a little while and talked about boomers and festivals... and why we love boomers... and where James knows other people who love boomers, and we should come up and see his collection sometime....
IT WAS SO GREAT!
Then, we go to a record store in Bellingham and just brutalize their tape selection...
We get home, and Dave, my husband puts a tape in the tape player exactly and plays it right where the tape it's at (no fast-forward or rewinding.)
You know what song was on there?
Holly Ann!
I started BAWLING!
It sounds SO AMAZING! My husband cannot believe HOW GREAT IT SOUNDS! He is absolutely amazed.
THIS IS THE VERY BEST THING I OWN! I think God will let me take it to heaven someday. I know he will.
