tonight -
added some 1/2" deep x 1/8" wide chrome woofer trim --
looks subtle and cool --
like the hitachi 8080 this trim

or do we prefer the big wide chrome trims ala tosh 40 ot lasonic 931 , etc

then --a while later
a delightful dilemma evolved .............

i put on an extra 1/8 ' x 1/16" chrome strip -
and that changed the cool look of my single band trim -

which looks better ???

is that the woofers look HUGE with the skinny outer trim --only -
and -- not so big with the double trim -

No question....double trim all day!

I think both the double and single chrome trim alone will not look appealing!
Also the two same size tweeters side by side. I would go with a Al shiny paint on the front face of the speaker rims. That will change the looks completely for good!

Let's see it with Al foil wrapped on the front part of the rims with the chrome rims.

Also make one of the tweeter/mid range rims bigger and much different .. M70 look?

Neither.....

Fill the ENTIRE ring with chrome......a la Sharp 9191 or 9292
