the chrome curve atop the right side woofer is just a practice piece -
its automotive stick-on trim ... 1/2 " wide
--might look cool --will know by tomorrow
and yes --for now --there will be a stock m70 inside the case --
for later --there will be 10" woofs and still could have an m70 tuner , deck
and amps ..inside
i have already run big 10" KLH cabinet speakers via the external speaker jacks -
and the stock m70 amps have PLENTY of clean power to blast them - LOUD

The original JVC speakers are 8-ohms. For bridged amps, 8ohms is like 4-ohms on single-ended amp designs. Using 4-ohm speakers would be like using 2-ohm speakers on SE amps........ DON'T go there. So stick with 8-ohms and you will be fine.
