I was so lucky to get one Panasonic RX-DT95 today. :surf:

The box is in like new condition and everything works including the automatic cassette doors opening with the remote. This 90s box was sounding so clear with very good bass. Any information on this unit is highly appreciated.

I'm familiar with the DT75 and thought it was top of the line, now I'm not sure. :hmmm:
Was the 95 TOTL above the 75?

Great score regardless and I love the fully motorized decks.

HI MasterBlaster84,

Was the 95 TOTL above the 75?

I don't know what TOTL means. If you meant total output, I am not sure how much is it. It got powerful bass and loud also. I will post a picture showing the model number and the sceen displays. Like you know bass reflex sound make is hard to make a guess on the power output.

TOTL = Top Of The Line.
I always thought the 75 was the top dog at the time but the 95 makes me wonder if that wasn't the case. :hmmm: They look very similar.

:-D :-D Oh okay!

TOTL was new to me. Thanks!

God only knows. May be there is another one above 95. :surf:

The woofer surrounds look very nice and looks like rubber. Hopefully these models are built well.

I was so lucky to get this one in like new condition. I will add this one to my collection of gems. :surf:

75 doesn't have the lumo blue light (as far as i know as mine doesn't light up )
I would say the same model but upgraded or for a different market

I tried to take a close up picture of the lumo blue light panel and coudn't get a clear picture. I found a nice close up picture of the same model on the net.

My 75 has a yellowish light in the display instead of blue and the display is a little different (simpler). The buttons are all grey plastic instead of silver like the 95 so I'd say the 95 is a 75 with a little better feature set.

Does anyone know the power output for these models?

This boombox has the best bass and treble. I was afraid to compare it with my Pana 5350, C 100, Sharps, JVCs and so so on. I think the RX-D75 is 7W+7W. I am not sure if the RX-D95 is much higher.

The ported subwoofers really kicks even though they look small.

I've never listened to a BB with this kind of bass. I was always reluctant to go higher than 1/2 the volume with any of my Boomboxes.
