My husband asked gently, "Do you want one for the nostalgia... or... the sound quality? You know... technology has changed a lot and it may not be as great as you remembered it..." I told him it is the nostalgia, but the sound is AWESOME!!!!

...I definitely know what you are talking about. I love the M70 so much I have 5 of them... :-D ..it is the favorite box from my youth.

A mint Crown 5100SZ for 45 quid..... not a bad deal.

My Sharp GF-9000 70 quid I offered on a 'don't ask don't get' on Ebay, and accepted :thumbsup: after cleaning, almost mint.

My Technics SA-C05 again almost mint, 25 quid on Ebay.

I've never paid much for any of mine (can't afford to!) just tend to sit and wait for something to turn up a decent price. |-) :cool:

40 € +40 of repair = 80€ for a lasonic trc 931!You have to consider how much is hard to find one in Italy!!
60€ for a Sharp gf-666!(I'm waiting it from the seller!)

I think for me its my Hitachi 3D cd box, its not the rarist or most sought after box in the world but it does sound great, very loud, everything works and in great condition.
Plus it had three other boxes thrown in, Sharp GF-500, Sanyo M-W1 and an earlier hitachi 3D.
The deal was local so no shipping and the price was only £40. A good boombox day :-D
