Hi, so I decided to buy this box after seeing it in an online offer. The seller claimed it's fully functional, and truth be told both channels work, both decks play and the radio gets reception, however there are some unusual defects to it.
For starters, the big Conion-like LED bar and discolites don't quite work. Discolites can be toggled on and off with a button. After turning on they're solidly lit, they don't go with the music at all. The LED bar goes with the music, but when no tape is playing (The box only has tape and radio, no AUX in or out - only headphones) the lights sometimes seem to sustain the condition from before the Stop button was pressed, rather than dropping down to zero.
Also, when no tape is playing, the box sometimes makes sounds on it's own, like clicking and popping. It always makes a loud bang on startup.
