Playing some nice chillin' Herbie Hancock music.
Took this photo on vacation a few weeks ago, it was below freezing on that beach but nobody was there so it was great fun just to walk around there listening to music :-)
Please post your boombox beach shots! :-D

Cool photo dude. And below freezing.... . Thats real boomboxlover  .

Isn't it a trick to put the batteries in the fridge and then they work again?
Well, I thought I'd do the that but with the boombox

Glad you like the picture  Post yours ;-)

Were you brave enough to go for a swim? :-D

Nope, that would have been to cold :-) But what you cannot see, I wore my bathing shorts while I took that and enjoyed the weather

Nah, seriously. Unlike Ira, I am not sending my boomboxes for a swim :nonono:

Haha i dont have any photos from the beach with boombox. Im so wasted to carry a box (me on right, thats my permanent state there  ). Thats the way for kumpels from Germany as well on the sea side :surf: .
p.s. and "the battery trick" was to put them on top of the heater not freezing  .

The casing is indeed identical BUT look at the grills, the 938 ones are silver while the 935 ones are vlack. The radio scale on the 938 is blue and the one on the 935 is silver.
All in all, I like the design of both and I still want to get my hands on a 938 (yes, I guess I am calling dibs ;-) ).
Electrical differences - I have no idea. IMHO it is just the design that seperates them.

ok - you are right --

by electrical diffs -
i meant that often --the same boxes have alternate model numbers -
only because they may have various tuning bands
and/or AC power specs

like the panny F32 really = the panny F35
etc

Indeed the radio bands might be a difference :hmmm:
Maybe the 935 is for the European market and the 938 for the American one?
My 935 has FM, SW, MW and LW... AC supply only, 220V.
I am guessing yours is on 120V for the first difference... :hmmm:

I love Mate. There's an ice tea called "Club Mate" around here which is pretty awesome as well. But real Mate definitely kicks ass. Oh, and that Sharp looks very nice, too
