I can only dream. He let me "babysit" the PC-55 for a few weeks after last year's Sunshine Mix and it was certainly a joy to have around. It provided entertainment for several cookouts.
...wow, what a great story. I know how it feels to get your all-time favorite box. When I got my first M70 after many, many years of wanting one it almost brought tears to my eyes to see and hear it for the first time. Congrats Freddie and enjoy your new box...
Don...a few years ago, Ira snagged the very FX-700R I have now for me. Of course I told him to go ahead and enjoy it...well, he used restraint and didn't open her up until I got it at the first Sunshine Mix. (At which time I promptly paid him before he changed his mind upon hearing it! )
I would be a piece of dirt to expect you not to have a listen and play with it before sending it this way...but would have a coronary if you said "You know what Freddie...screw you and the joy the Florida members could have seeing this beauty!"
Not only that, my wife has family in California. And have you ever seen a mad sista?!? :jason: :jason: :jason:
Now there's a situation I wouldn't wish on anyone!!!!
Only one mistake in this list of posssibilities...The FX-700R! (And possibly the Vector...)
I wouldn't die selling the PC-55 as these are e're where...
Honestly, the ones I would consider selling wouldn't pay the gas one way. One thing I have failed to do is sock away grails like Gordie (and possibly some other members) for future vacation funding!
We are loking hard at our funding options and still plan to be there. Biggest thing is lodging from what we can tell...
