I have some of these shogun headphones for sale - was looking around for info prior to selling. Where is the best place to put them up for sale? They are mint, fully working and have the original demo tapes and a few albums.
Thanks

The 80's still feel very fresh and......'almost yesterday' to me as so many of the things advertised at the time still feel so familiar today. When I was a child, my mother used to tell me stories of 'the old days' when life was so different: the pace was slower, life was much simpler and - it goes without saying - the whole world was in black & white. :-D

These days, kids may think the 80's are 'the old days' as they'd be talking of life some 35+/- years ago but, to me, the 80's will never be 'the old days' as it's all too fresh in my mind, was awash with colour and the music is still heard all over the world.

As for the pics, I find the pic of the 3-piece "Sony domestic Hi-Fi system" somewhat dubious as the young man seems to be brandishing a very hefty Sony FH-7 almost effortlessly! :w00t:

Yeah the 80's are not "The Old Days" for me either, more like a few years back! 1980 really did seem like the beginning of the "Digital Age" & in so many ways it was with technology advancing quickly & manufacturers pushing the formats we had for music to the absolute limit!! Who knew many of us would still be recording on cassette & playing boomers from that era today?? :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: That muff machine is hilarious & I remember reading about them but never ever saw one! The tape player is really slipping & sounds like one of those dodgy late 80's "Lusty Linda" 0898 premium numbers :-D Funny as fook as the music always really slipped due to the terrible quality of the telephone pre recording machines! Always amused me anyway & Steve Wright had a character late 80's early 90's that replicated the awful quality!! The 80's as a whole saw amazing progress I've not seen before or since - Even the home PC really took off in the very late 90's here in the UK, the 90's for me was still vinyl records & cassettes at home & in the car or personal stereo......I had a nice Technics CD player but always bought music on vinyl & played it on early 80's hi-fi separates! For me it will never be the same as those glory days of the 80's - The fashions of course have a lot to answer for
Now where can I buy a "Music Muff" ?? :-D
