The pics are awesome guys, I feel like I missed out on something pretty cool.
I don't mean to make you feel any worse, but this year's meet was nothing short of spectacular. :surf: There was an excitement in the air that could only be experienced in person and Lyle and his crew had everyone fired up about the upcoming book. It was really cool to see professional photographers taking our boomboxes one by one to be photographed for possible inclusion in the book.

History was being made.

 :afro: :breakdance:
Thanks Bobby. :'-( :'-( :'-( :'-( :'-(

It looks like a meet that will be hard to top, the professional photography is just insanely cool.

thanks bobby, for all 'your perspective' shots --

even if we has a few less boxes on display --
just think of the incredible and beautiful boxes that were there this time --

which were never there before --

that was the awesome part !!!!!!

Great pics. I wish I didn't had this stupid cold which really got me bad!

Especially when I needed to wake up and be at work the very next day by 7a.m. I was so pissed off!

I truly did had a good time getting to know Lyle aka: Wonderlust the man who will put the Boombox history on a more wider audience!

I'm ready for the next meet!

Don't ask for a shirt... because they are all gone. You'll have to show up to the next meet to get one. ;-)

Oh, you guys...
Another triumph by all accounts :-)

Fantastic to see all tha pics, thanks to you all for sharing.

Great to see such a wide range, from oldest to newest, largest to smallest... & that's just the people!
Seriously, a really interesting congregation of all sorts of boomers.
Love the pink "Hello Kitty" egg - my 6 year old has that exact one - thanks again to Uncle Ed & Betty!
Great to see a Hitachi 3D in there... & one of the best of 'em too - the 3D8.
Also a Sony CFD5, looking sleek & elegant in amongst the boomer throng.
Good to see the tiny Sansui FX700R impressing people again. It really is mid-size boom in a mini package, eh?

I see SkillPhil in there - could it be you I bought a Hitachi 3D82 from on eBay in Jan 2007?

Hey, love the T-shirts too. Are they for sale anywhere?
