yes i agree with you mb i used to have one when i was a teen and the one i had had a blown channel thats how i got it basicly for free, but i was happy back then, so what i did was hook both speakers together as i did not have anyone to help me find the ic chip that was burnt,,,,, so now after all these years i have one that works also, it still bring back memories, and really back then i really did not care how it sounded because i was glad i had it,, and even thou it not a typical grail but its still a nice box to have in your collection,,, btw this same box is the one i used as a amp for my electric guitar since i did not have the money to have a real amp,, but since i needed to hear it in my room to practice it served me well, i had that box for a couple of years before i traded it for a pioneer sk31..... :-)

Nice trade monchito, that Pioneer SK-31 is a nice box of similar size.
If I recall SupaD stated the 9975 has the same amp chip as the 9994 and judging by the power rating that sounds about right, the 9975 is rated at 7 watts per channel according to the service manual.

yes it does thats why when i plugged my guitar it played real good and loud , and notice that the 9975 does lack a bit of the bass but it worked well as a pratice amp and now that i recall i plugged my bass guitar in there a few times and and faired well , so all in all its a workhorse of a box :w00t: :w00t:           i know it was not designed for that but what are you going to say to a novice musican that had no amp
