Quite strange this model bought here in Holland with a 250V plug (USA-model)
I had to be sure it was transformed from 230V to 7,5V.
Goodman-Ivo helped me to find the Trafo switch, so I could finally connect it to our 230V system.
It works! Great sound, and sensitiv FM receiver!

That is definitely unique. 8 speakers?
Hi, they talk about 2 way "passive" speaker system, when you open these speakerboxes, you'll see the speaker on bottom side (left & right) is just a paper without wire connection and magnets, this bottom speaker should just give the sound what is left behind the top-speakers (high and low tones)
So in this case I just count 6 speakers (including the high-tones metal plates in each (3) corners) It looks nice, but sound is nothing comparing a Sharp GF-800

I'd imagine the bottom speakers are used as a passive radiator then. Cool looking unit though, never seen one like this before!

Thanks dude :) Doing a bit of reading on the forum. Has been a while! I didn't collect much the last years, so not much has changed. The silver Sanyo is a bit plastic fantastic lol. Didn't power it on, but I know it must sounds horrible, just by how less it weights. Like the looks of the black one! The red one is awesome :) They look a bit like that jdm high end Sony box! Don't know the model name. Glad to see youre still around dude :)
