Need help to find out what the band colors are for this resistor as mine looks to have been blown then resoldered :'-( This is located on board for deck 1 for motor
Thanks-GZ- said:hard to tell in-person also.
id say orange-olive green-navy blue-gold???
I believe the 1st one you said was right...Thanks again.... Also like i said about your extra wire, if am/fm tuner works just tape wire for future-GZ- said:first one...definitely orange
second.....olive green or gold
third----black or navy blue
fourth----gold or olive green
sorry man theyre old and faded and my eyes are playin tricks on me.....some daylight would help if i was ever home during daylight.
Sorry bill, don't have a meter.baddboybill said:Thanks guys, My resistor had been either burned or broken and someone rigged it by soldering it together....It works but of course I can not test it GZ has been helping but the colors on his dont make sense so I have asked if he has a test meter to test his If anyone else has a conion/helix/clairtone this could be vital info
No problem!!!-GZ- said:Sorry bill, don't have a meter.baddboybill said:Thanks guys, My resistor had been either burned or broken and

glad you got it workin bill!baddboybill said:Ok so without the meter test just going by band colors the closest match was 35 ohms. I used 33 ohms and tested deck And its working 100% for full tape thanks GZ, Norm and everyone else who helped!!!
Well we kind of came up with orange, green, black, gold... Which is 35 ohm 1/2 watt @5%. Well see they don't manufacture those resistors I went with orange, orange, black and gold = 33 ohms 1/2 watt @5%.-GZ- said:glad you got it workin bill!baddboybill said:Ok so without the meter test just going by band colors the closest match was 35 ohms. Out of curiosity...what band colors are on the new one? Man my eyes were fn with me!!
33 Ohm is the right value for R 343 . I checked the resistor in my Clairtone( Orange Orange Black)baddboybill said:Well we kind of came up with orange, green, black, gold...
