I just used this method on an M70 and it gets rid of the hum, also on a Rexcel, works like a charm. So glad this issue was able to be overcome, nice work Trippy!

For anyone willing to do this, here is some information that would've saved me loads of hassle if I knew it from the beginning:

I did the same but there still was a lot of noise when on batteries. And an extremely loud hum when on ac.

Those are completely isolated, the output ground will be totally disconnected from the boombox's ground.

This will eliminate any noise left coming from the bluetooth module, it worked great for me!
