the day i came back from dessau, sick, fever, i got a call from a mate, told me he found 2 boomers, a silva superwoofer (hitachi 3d style) and a silvercolored philips, guess what, i was feeling a little bit better instantly :-D
now its still dirty with a yellowish touch but everything works perfect, all it needs is a serious cleanup

im really lucky with this machines, the first one i got for free, only working on batteries
the second one for 10euro, fully working
and yeah they really sound good on low to moderate volumes  , but if you play em loud the bass starts to distort :hmmm:
or what do u think?

yes i agree about the bass, but like any box if you crank it up loud with the bass too high it will distort.
i think you can crank the d8614 nearly all the way with the bass at a moderate level and it sounds great.
also the 20 watt max power it has written on it should be changed to atleast 80 watts
