My Restored JVC-M71 JW (PIC HEAVY)

Well its been about a month in the making and I am just about done with the restoration.
All I have left to do is replace the print on the top panel which is going to be pad printed back on.
Thank you Ira (Redbenjoe) for providing the wonderful Specimen to start with!
Thank you to Joe (Blu Fuz) supplying the paint!!! It went on real nice and matches great!
And last but not least,
Thank you Norm (Superduty) for the slider board repair and wonderful LED kit
It is now the best sounding 70 series JVC I ever heard thanks to
your craftsmanship and expertise!!!

It's just like driving a vintage car,
some people wil snicker under their breath but most are Usually in awe of them.
I love to talk with people about them.

ok --the m71 story might take a few posts --even this short version is loooooooooong |-) |-)

it all started about 6 weekends ago --
i brought my extra nice sounding gf1000 to the meet --mostly because the boys had seen all my other
boxes at prior meets --and i wanted them to see something different this time -
and also --frank pre-told me he would fix the "few ' cosmetic " touch-ups " it could use

so --here it was --in this photo -- looked almost fine to me

i got to franks about an hour early -- before the crowd -
so he could perform the qwikie " while u wait " speaker spray and hairline crack repair -
yeah right !!!

anyway --he said he needed to keep it for a bit --and fix it ---later --
fine with me

in the meantime --i was thinking about how to repay frank --?
no matter what he works on -
he does it with so much talent and CARING - that NO money is equal -
so -- the deal needed to be for women or cars or boxes
