some photos of my VZ 2000, bought her this week, all i need now is another record collection. Shes in good fettle for her age, this one was made in 1983 and sold in 1984. Gave a her a good clean with a small bristle brush and case cleaner......sounds pretty good for 27yr old

Sorry no pics, look further down Bill has kindly posted them for me.....

cheers matey.......i dont think safari will upload them.......but cheers.....what do you think of the condition......ive contacted bredgeo for some sliders. some muppet had broken off the stubs inside the sliders. Ive managed to poke them out, but ended up breaking one of the other sliders trying if for size, so i will need 3 now :annoyed:

thanks Bill, i have mentioned that she plays slow on Side A from start up, if i play from side B then let it switch over, shes fine. After one record, she plays ok. I think the motor must be a bit tired or tight with not being used.

I had one back in 82-83 but swopped it for a Yamaha 125cc......i owed my brother some cash and the kid selling it wanted the VZ so i let it go. Not this one, will be keeping her. In the 80's i had a Sharp 9090 a 9191 a 9494 a 9595 a VZ2000 and the first Hitachi CD player with the 3D subwoofer....

good old days......LOL.....

That's cool! My nostalgia box is the one in my avatar - my Conion C-100F

I might need an extra large coffin so it can be buried with me - lol!!

Easily one of the best condition VZ's I've had the pleasure of seeing on here.
Even with one missing slider.

Congratulations, Kev!

Rock On.
