OSS, can u tell more about your project ?

I will post pictures of it soon.
Perhaps you can help me with it?
I had put it aside do some difficulties, but after seeing your's, I am ready to try it again.
This is some real classic Boombox hotrodding.

Wow, how did you do that?
I just saw one of those at a thrift but missing the handle.
You may have convinced me to go back and get it.
how did you cut out those first grills?

Cheers OSS :afro:

Thanks allot, mates!
OSS, that cutting simple. I've started with small screw-driver, finished with some pliers and knife:]]. New grilles and rings are simply glued-on with some "super glue". Hardest work was to take speakers out (for safety during this mod), becouse all parts of the box are mounted on the front panel, not on the back pannel ,as we all are hoping:]. Also this model's sound is pretty week, as u can see from the first pic, speakers size is faked..But anyway, Sony looks nice and i'm very happy about it.

Hey!
Great work! They all look great, especially like the JVC and the red one  . Painted one myself a couple of weeks ago and it turned out great, shiny and very green, just need to work on my covering skills, it was green where it was not supposed to :-P.
Hope to see more of these great restorations, a great inspiration  !

Peace
