today -- after doing my best to make sure that 2 of our most distinguished adult members ::
superduper and bmoney------------
( who should have known BETTER than to listen to ME)
have now actually PAID their good money for these turkeys-
and have them 'in transit' to their homes-
i was thinking about the MANY stupid elements about these things--
and - since they are both past their $$ 'turning points'
---might as well warn them and warn everybody
about what i think are some ridiculous JVC kaboom fk-ups
open to any/all counterpoints --
but imho --NONE of the following are nit-picks-
and ALL are sort of big deals:::
1. after YEARS of development time --
and an extra DECADE !!! for improvements
they FORGOT the tweeters 
2. they forgot the tape counter--
3. they forgot the HANDLE !!! --- yikes
:'-(
these are the absolute worst size/weight/shape boxes- to ever be lugged around --
(even if they had remembered the handle)
and --straps suk on ANY heavy box --
its much safer to carry this pig --
under-arm
cuz --all the strap does is promote the obvious crash-bang-bump-thump scenario :annoyed:
4. the battery consumption is double our worst expectations
5. the design is outrageous (which is a GOOD thing -- in this case)
but--except for my model -- which has BRIGHT PURPLE !! speaker grills
most all their many other color selections are totally non-outrageous BLAND
combos of just white/silver/grey and flat black--
so - they blew all those chances to make the kaboom
with a thrilling line of color choices--
6. the kaboom digital tuner is WAY below the 'top-of-the-line' $$$
for ANYTHING !!!
7. they dont stack , or fit anywhere
nor do they 'go' with any other box or any other product
---unless we have a pig farm!!

there are prolly even more screw-ups --
but thats enough for the moment

the worlds most exclusive and renowned box collector
has only TWO boomboxes --
his name is jens
one of his collection is a KABOOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
