Like Chris said, it was a Friday morning excursion buzzing around Lake Tahoe, NV, just relaxing and chilling out. Best vacation the family has had in a few years since everyone enjoyed it.

Here is the backside while we were motoring.

:nonono: What's wrong with my converse? I'm a practical guy and dem shoes are comfortable, have like-nu soles, have no rips, holes, tears or goo. They have no objectionable odors :-P ..... consequently they are keepers. Means, more money for boomboxes.

Oh, I know that area well, My parents used to take us up hwy 395 from Los Angeles camping all the time and I did it with my kids....We've been to Lake Tahoe many many times! It's a very beautiful place. I was up there last November as a matter of fact!

50 degrees. And the lake averages 1,000 feet deep. At the deepest depths, it is 1,645 feet deep!

Vlad,

Some folks reports on some new acquisition or events, or something "special" boombox related that is newsworthy.

For me, I am surrounded by boomboxes. I see them everyday, look at them every day. Play with them every day. Fix or tinker with them everyday. So this was a pleasant retreat from what has become a lifestyle, and therefore, the trip was the reporting of something different, and something "special" since I hardly ever get to enjoy and relax like that.

  Sorry to disappoint but I'm sure the next 100 posts in a row (not by me) will likely be boombox heavy.
