I just woke up, getting some coffee, staring at this Toshiba, just admiring the design! It really is beautiful.

It's always so great to share the excitement with you all....makes collecting a thousand times better!

It all makes me feel so good.....I can't wait till the next one gets here so I can share that one with you too!

Here's the first morning out at the sea wall (sorry for the blueish tint on the pics, cell phone camera)

Was cranking up AFN (Armed Forces Network radio) the only American station on the island! They play everything from Megadeth to Souljaboy to Aretha Franklin!

(EDIT: had the wrong setting on the camera! Guess I get to take more pictures )

This is my fist Toshiba and it stands up to what everyone has ever said about them. TOP NOTCH build quality, SOLID as a ROCK!

I will be looking for more Toshiba's down the line for sure!

I love the Japanese boxes even though you need an adapter to plug 'em in (don't plug yours into 120V; not a good idea ) Let me know if you need an adapter; there's a shop nearby that sells them).

I've got two Japanese boxes now and would buy another in a heartbeat:

* Sharp GF-999
* Toshiba RT-S83

Oh Yeah, there are sandy beaches....but the sea wall keeps the beach out of my HOUSE!

hmmm...looks like Korean BBQ (the food dude!) Haven't had it in a while as my fav restuarant closed down
Yeah, I know it's may be difficult but see if you can guess my wifes nationality....

We have just been discussing the finer points of box packing as she thinks it's too rude to ask the sellers to spend a bit more time packing my babies.

Wow, your wife is a tiny one too! (I love that!)

My first guess would be that your wife is Japanese or Chinese, but it's hard to tell. If we were in person, I bet I could guess right away. Most people say (and I say this lightly / joking) "I Can't Tell One From Another, They All Look The Same".

I am usually 90% + correct at guessing where an Asian woman is from. But then again, I have spent a LIFE TIME looking at Asian women.

BTW, digging the full traditional outfits! VERY COOL
