Congrats you have some grest Boomers there.
The Hi Tech 2000 looks like an aka of the Goldstar TSR-640. I have one. I was disapointed, after I had some TSR-800. The Sound is average. But nice to see an aka.
I really like your CSC-980.
I can´t agree on this. I have the Adyson aka of this Boomer. And I think, it´s the best sounding Midsizer in my collection. I listen to Mp3s through it (the Tuner is good too). The Trick is, to not use any Eq-Presets on your MP3-Player, elsewise the Speakers could´nt handle the Bass. Without the Eq-Presets it has a nice overall Sound with decent Bass.

Well it's made in republic of Korea, the sound is not too bad, but definitely not hi-fi. This box is not very loud and gets distorted easily. Comparing it to my 950 the sound is dull. At least it has loudnesstalk about killer looks
: built in strap bars, big-ass VU meters, dual antennas and the whole style of the box is eye catching
also has line in and somehow sounds better in outside than inside
I would rate this box 6 for sound and 9 for looks so 7,5 total
and it was found at a flee
seller wanted 100eur but I managed to get at half the price
