My boom room finally complete and a BLACK FRIDAY addition!

Took our unfinished attic and changed it around. Finally my boom room is finished. Got them all out of the office. Missing my SCR-8 and Blockbuster from these pics .

Thanks guys . All this hard work is finally getting to an end thankfully and I am now enjoying the entire structure of my home.



Yes, I did the demo on the "leaning" chimney . It was right in the walking space we needed but originally we wanted to keep it and make it a focal point. Oh well, now the chimney hole is the main supply for the HVAC up there .


The windows up this high are SO great. You can almost see the city limits of Fox Lake looking out them. Peacefull really .


Very true that attic spaces have little vertical space for shelves. I only have about 32 boxes right now and my wife was cringing everytime I made another trip up there with fists full of boomboxes . Sorry Ira, I probably won't hit that 150+ box collection like you, GB767, Norm, and many other members have. I use to have over 40 boxes, but unloaded some entry level ones to save up for the big boys like the Clairtone 7980 and the M90 . It's hard to figure out which boxes I really want to have now.....
