I had to repair a failing LED strip which happens rarely but when you are pulling the chassis & re-installing as often as I do, sometimes a connection get broken & you have to replace a LED strip or connector to get it back to 100%. In this case, the left Cassette bay LED was oonly lighting the RED circuit as the soldered joints for blue & green got pinched at some point. Bummer, so I decided to continue adding more LED accents, here & there while repairing the existing LED strip...

Well, part way through Phase 2. The woofers are Dressed, ready to go back into the cabinet.

The ceneter woofer accent LEDs have already been half-wired & semi-tested so far to work.

Here's the new look of the woofers, drying & waiting to be installed:

Once it's together for another extended testing, I'll decide if I should finish it or start over again with a different look.....
I've never been afraid to start over if I don't like the results. I know I can pick it apart but the final result speaks for itself.....

Trying to hurry up & finish the 2nd phase before sun-up so I can get some precious sleep before working, later this afternoon. Got the blaster back together & snapped a few pics with the Leds off.

the gf 777 is one of the best boxes to mod , , it has plenty of power and room for 4 woofers and 2 tweeters . as well as independent sub level controls . perfect to build on . and just looks killer. love the gf 777 .

Agreed! The 777 is begging to be modded in so many ways & has a quality look similar to the old silver Yamaha Natural Sound Recievers of the 70's & 80's....

Been wishing on that star for quite some time....maybe rig up a vapo-pen to burn the fog juice & rig a tiny CPU fan to blow it out a tube, or some shiz-nit Franken-beast...

You know, are some guys in the Model RC Tank community that build custom smokers that use fog juice. They are TINY and have built in fans and they PUMP out the smoke! Cheap too, under $50, that would do the trick.

Of course the downside is, you don't know if your smoker is working or your box is on fire  But that would be SICK!

That beast is lookin DOPE! I'd love to see that triple 777 spittin out some crazy smoke, Not the electrical fire kind though! That would be the ultimate party machine if you pull that off, can't wait to see what's next!
