the sound presets hardly made any difference and the radio section sucked also i think it was just to modern for me with no cassette etc it was a bass monster though for sure

Newbie here, has anyone here heard of the JVC kaboom RV-B90 with 2 x 6.5" active subwoofers. IMHO these model is still King of Bass for mobile boomboxes. Not only loud but deep and tight with very good mid and highs too.

get the jvc rd md5 best sounding kaboom of them all Alan..mains only though

it rivals my hifi and that is worth thousands dude

When I put two JVC RV-DP200 Kaboom,at the party,at the barbecue , one next to the other, like two mono blocks, one for the left channel and one for the right, then the grilled meat doesn't even need to be turned because it only turns, from sound and bass ...

I don't give a f*** what anybody says on any given day for a one-piece box the lasonic TRC 931 I don't think any box can out bass these things when you watch the woofers jump it's mesmerizing.
