Mono that is a really nice and im guessing rare box.
Mitsubishi??? I didnt even know they made boomboxes.
Man that box has all the elements necessary to make any collector
Does the box have removable grills or are they missing?

Diatone and Jeagam are Mitsubishi sub-divisions... The Mitsubishi name only appears on the inside of this box, so technically,
It's a Diatone JR-711.

Just like I did with the Toshiba BomBeat RT-9990SM when I first got it, I took the grills off,
stripped the paint and polished + clear coated 'em...

Originally, the grills are black... Mine's gonna shine!

Glad you like it! Thanks!

We all agree it looks sweet.
So, hows it sound?!?!?! :hmmm:

Thanks!

The highs could be slightly better... Bass is almost on par with a Lasonic TRC-931...

In my collection...

1. Victor RC-M90
2. Toshiba BomBeat RT-S90
3. Toshiba BomBeat RT-9990SM
4. Diatone JR-711
5. Victor RC-M70
6. Aiwa CS-75X
7. Hitachi TRK-8800RM
8. Sharp GF-508SB
9. Everything else...
