I trust the man himself is to be banned too?...you can't rip two members off for hundreds of dollars and then keep visiting the forum...it says he was last on here 11 days ago so he's clearly aware of all this :thumbsdown:

Damn that is messed up, I never figured Sin for this. I've had several deals with him and we met up a few times, he seemed like a good guy. I know he's gone through some rough times but that's certainly no excuse. :nonono:

Thanks for thinking about this Joe but to be honest, although I am out a few $'s I think Zippy has been much harder done by than me here :-/

I've already written this off as a bad debt and moved on. The radio I bought probably belongs to someone else now and I'm over it.
It would be good to help Zippy out but for me, I'd rather forget about it and concentrate on the good and well respected people on this site that make the hobby so much fun :-D

Alfie and Zippy have been nothing but gents through this whole process. SIN won't show his face here or at S2Go. He can't...too much bad blood now. He's outcast with the likes of DM4U and other whacks.

Best thing is to move on to a recovery fund ( count me in :yes: ) for Alfie and Zippy and let SINISTER fade into the sunset of shame.

Wow, that's messed up. I've also dealt with Sin a few years ago with no issues - that's too bad. I'll contribute some to the fund as well

Here's the lesson...Always do your PayPal transactions as an invoice for 'goods' so that the seller can't weasel out of the responsibility to follow through & ship it. Always nail down the details in emails & never go beyond 30 days without filing a dispute so that you can escalate to a claim if you don't get your box within 30 days of payment. Don't take the word of anyone, even a well established member, that they will make it right if they can't send you a boombox within the 30 days of payment made. I've been ripped off by shady sellers & ALWAYS got my money back from PayPal without much hassle at all. I appreciate the fact you guys wanted to give someone the benefit of the doubt but you never know when someone wants to do a burn & run on you....I thought something was fishy when this guy was selling boxes & apologizing about not sending out the 1's he already sold as if its so hard to get your SHITE together to make it to the post office or arrange for a UPS pickup if that is your only option. If you got the time to sell it, you got the time to ship it out in a reasonable timeframe, period. If anyone here sells me a box, be warned that that crap won't work on me for more than a week of stalling before I get a little bit rude about the situation. You can always cancel a dispute or claim if it shows up but you better file after 30 days, because most likely the guy is yankin' your chain if they can't get it together & ship it within a week of payment being received.

Too bad Sinister decided to be such a JERK!!! Ban him for good & report him to PayPal & let them crawl up his bunghole over mail fraud...

Hey you guys, WOW... it seems I've been away too long!!! This kinda stuff has NEVER happened here (just to let the new members know)...

I feel very bad for brother Zippy, this just plain SUCKS (the Big one) if you ask me...

Don't know why but, I've always had a "Strānj Sense" that this individual was gonna pull something sooner or later. I mean, he basically posts here just when he's selling stuff right? ... That's always bothered me, I've never said anything about it, 'cause it's a pretty easy going forum, but now that this happened I feel I can.

Sorry for your Helix Zippy, it's yours, you paid for it, even for the shipping. I hope something good comes out of all this. :popcorn:

IF, & I do say IF this is Sinister's ad then I bet he got what he wanted from the forum & now is conning more buyers out of money & then STALL, STALL, STALL until the 45 days to file a PayPal dispute are up....Just a guess but from this thread, it seems likely this guy is a total manipulator & con who thinks it won't catch up with him. I wonder if anyone here did their trasnactions as a money request or 'gift' payment at his request... :hmmm:

Dave was known to have many eBay IDs at one time including: sinister4life, soulclap71, meowmix010, mg6242. It wouldn't surprise me at all if this is another one.
