The thought of you putting them on your 777 makes me want to :'-( I took my GF-575 apart to fix a few screw posts and was amazed how brittle the plastic case was. Even with some form of stress reducing strips inside to spread the load I would say they'd part company very quickly, Not talking from experience but from putting a strap points on a fishing tackle box I had. Looked great but lasted about 10 minutes walking, crashed to the floor spilling my gear, including my beloved Penn multipler everywhere. :annoyed:
Well, believe it or not, I've been walking around with it slung over my shoulder & using a piece of garden hose that is fashioned into a strap with the help of some duct tape. 
The case seems to handle it fine & I even shook it back & forth, holding onto the handles for about 10 seconds to see if the walls were too weak. I didn't even hear any creaking or groaning at all & the handles stayed snugly in place with the sink washers. I wanted to post a video but that would be boring & difficult to shoot.
