That Nippon is still there at the thrift shop.
Its missing the speakers which is such a shame.

How do you like the knobs on this 980? Not plastic as in the 850.
The 850 mark II has metal knobs identical to the 980 - if you are unlucky & own the mark I 850 you get plastic knobs 🤢

It was a great walk, Deech!! Since I saw it in your photo, Hitachi TRK-9150 is on my "to hunt down" list. The first 3-piecer I fell in love with, dunno why. Hope it sounds decent, but I just Love its looks!!!

Jorge that Hitachi TRK-9150 is such a heavy boombox and it has a unique ''military'' look.
Soundwise is a sweet sounding unit. :)
I love mine too.
